The Introductory Offer of 5 Sessions for $60 to use within 2 weeks is exclusively available to new clients of First Pilates (first timers) and becomes active from the date of your initial booking. Each person can only utilize the Introductory offer once, and it cannot be combined with any other opening offer.
We suggest bringing a gym towel, water, and Pilates socks to your class. If you don’t have Pilates grip socks, they are available for purchase at the reception.
Yes, attendees must be over 16 years old. Our training method and class structure are tailored for adults rather than youth.
Given our classes have a maximum capacity, they can fill up quickly. We suggest joining the waitlist for a fully booked class by reserving your spot as usual. Upon adding yourself to the waitlist, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your request. You will be notified via SMS or email when a spot becomes available.
To maintain fairness and allow waitlisted clients a chance to attend, you have two hours to respond using the provided link in the SMS or email. Failure to respond within this timeframe or declining the spot will result in removal from the waitlist, and the spot will be offered to the next person in line. Upon acceptance into the class, you will receive a notification.
Unfortunately, no refunds are provided for group classes within our 12-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend, kindly cancel or notify us at least 12 hours in advance. While we understand life can be unpredictable, it’s essential to maintain fairness for all clients.
Yes, we offer gift vouchers available for purchase at your local studio or via the app.
Certainly, we provide both 1-on-1 Private Classes. For tailored training to your specific needs, please contact your local studio directly. These sessions are also eligible for health fund rebates as they are led by a Physiotherapist.
Attendance during pregnancy depends on your stage. If you’re new to Pilates, we advise against starting classes until after pregnancy. Current clients are welcome in group classes until 12 weeks gestation. Beyond this point, our dynamic movements and faster pace are unsuitable. This guideline aligns with recommendations from RANCOG (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists), considering our inclusion of dynamic stretching, supine, and prone exercises.
We recommend waiting until after your 6-week GP/Obstetrician check-up to ensure proper healing before resuming classes.
